                  Santa Margarita Lake

              September 30th & October 1st

Santa Margarita Lake is a lovely hidden treasure on the Central

Coast. Closest motels would be in Atascadero or San Luis Obispo. For

campground reservations at individual sites call (805) 788-2397, or FAX

438-4453. The "Road Runner" campsites are close to the Morro Bay group

site. The "Grapevine" campsites are to the right of the entrance. Make

reservations ASAP.

First race starts Saturday at 1:00, with back to back races for the

afternoon. Sunday start time to be determined by the race committee to get

racers on the road and heading home.

Saturday evening at 6, at the "Coyote Site", there will be a big barbecue

pit for you to grill your own meat and bring a dish to share at a potluck

get together of the racers. For those of you who remember Lake Woollemes,

we would like to make this a Woollemes experience. For those of you who

don't have to be at work, this is a great stop to make on the way up to

the Schock Regatta the following weekend.
